chocolate chip cookie mix in a jar

layer the following ingredients in a jar in order

2 1/2 cups flour, 1/2 teaspoon salt and 1 teaspoon baking soda sifted together
1 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup sugar
2 cups chocolate chips
1 cup chopped walnuts

preheat oven to 375. remove chips and nuts from jar. beat 2 sticks butter in a bowl until fluffy. Beat in 2 eggs and 1 tablespoon vanilla. Add cookie mix and mix until blended. drop by teaspoonfuls onto a greased baking sheet. bake for 10 minutes until lightly browned.
