Here's a very easy bean recipe that makes a great side dish:

1 pound dried black beans
1 16 ounce jar salsa

Rinse beans. Place in a large bowl and cover with water. Soak overnight. Drain beans. Add them to a pot (crock pot if you have one) with the salsa and stir. Add just enough water to cover the beans. Cover and cook on low all day, 8 to 10 hours.
